Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul singer songwriter and actress. She's been awarded the Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award as well as Academy Award nominations are also an honor for her. Andra Day, a gifted musician and singer with a background in blues and gospel music that has a passion for the current world. She is much not just an R&B throwback master. The ability she has to mix the influences of jazz, gospel and the blues into the R&B style is quite impressive. Her debut album, Cheers to the Autumn (2015) she broke in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and was awarded a couple of Grammy acknowledgements. Andra day was born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew in San Diego and the metropolitan area. She sang in churches and enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she was a teenager, Day listened to contemporary R&B music and then pop. Her heart was always drawn to classical soul and jazz vocalists. An important break occurred in the form of a concert she gave was spotted by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently gave some of Day's tracks to husband Stevie Wonder. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Day was signed by Warner Bros. after gaining an enormous YouTube following along with Gurvitz & Jeffrey Evans Buskin. It was played quickly from radio DJs. After that, she was signed to Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz was the producer of her debut album called Cheers to celebrate the fall. It included Rise Up, that has since become a global music video for social justice campaigns. The album won two times for Grammys. It was also nominated for Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second studio album that was released in the year 2019 and a conceptual record about Billie Holiday's life. In the that same year, she appeared as a character in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), a biopic of Holiday's career. Andi Matichak is a famous American actress. She started out in television and appeared on shows such as Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. She then made her movie debut by appearing in Halloween and its sequels in the role of Allyson. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
