Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical thriller The Resident. She also received applause for her television debut part on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented The Immortals) is believed to be in production. The upcoming television series Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
